FIRST TIME HOME BUYER LOANS
“If you are paying rent, you are paying someone else’s
mortgage for them.”
NO MONEY FOR A DOWN PAYMENT? NO PROBLEM.
We have a variety of no money down programs. Perhaps you have established
credit and have plenty of money in the bank, but don’t want
to put a lot of money down. Maybe you don’t have any money to
put down but are ready to buy a home. Here are some questions and
answers:
Question: What if I have bad credit or no credit?
Answer: Having good credit is important, but even with some credit
problems or with no credit, you still may qualify for a loan.
Question: Do I need to have money for a down payment?
Answer: You may qualify for a zero down loan. There are a number
of loan programs for first time homebuyers that do not require
a down
payment.
Question: Can I afford the payment?
Answer: Interest rates are relatively low now. Your monthly mortgage
payment may be the same or even less than you are currently
paying in rent.
Question: Why is buying better than renting?
Answer: There are many advantages to owning your own home. As
you make payments, your mortgage goes down, while home values
typically
go up and you accrue EQUITY. When the mortgage is paid off,
you now own free and clear, a valuable asset… your home. When you are
renting, you are paying your landlord’s mortgage and the landlord
gets the equity. Also, the interest paid on your mortgage is tax deductible.
But the best reason to own your own home is that it is yours.
